The College of Engineering and Computing (CEC) supports eight primary fields of study: Aerospace Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Nuclear Engineering. The College consists of approximately 120 full-time faculty members, 2,200 undergraduate students, and 520 graduate students. Both undergraduate and graduate programs are ranked nationally by both U.S. News and World Report and the National Research Council.

The College of Engineering at Penn State University invites nominations and applications for the position of Department Head in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.  The College seeks an individual who will provide innovative and energetic leadership with effective administrative skills and a strong commitment to higher education.  The successful candidate should have a widely recognized reputation in Civil or Environmental Engineering.  An earned doctorate is required.

Sustainable Technology

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh seeks nominations and expressions of interest in the Viessmann Endowed Chair in Sustainable Technology. A tenured faculty position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor, the inaugural Chair will teach and develop courses in a department appropriate to the successful candidate’s background, in support of the new Environmental Engineering Technology Program at UW Oshkosh.
