The Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering at The University of Miami is seeking highly motivated Ph.D. students to work under the guidance of Dr. Sung Hee Joo beginning February 2014. Students will perform research in the areas of 1) fate, transport & risk assessment of nanomaterials, 2) applications of membrane technology for water reuse 3) advanced oxidation technology for the degradation of emerging contaminants, and 4) the ecotoxicological impacts of nanomaterials used in consumer products.
