The air environment and energy research laboratory (AEERL) at the University of Ulsan, Ulsan, Korea is seeking for a post-doctoral fellow (or research professor) who can meet the following requirements:

Carbon auditing, life cycle assessment (LCA) and environmental engineering

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) is seeking a Research Associate / Post-doc to manage and work in a research project for the development of a Hong Kong-based carbon database with respect to construction materials. Urban Stormwater Quality

University of Maryland, Civil & Enviornmental Engineering invites applications for 1 Post-doctoral position. The successful candidate will be directly responsible for a project evaluating water quality, hydrologic, and other benefits of varous media and media mixes for use in bioretention as natural urban stormwater control measure.  A background in water quality and treatment is required and a soils background is desired.  Experience in the use of AAS and IC is desired.  All successful candidates will be required to participate in other on-going projects in PI’s laboratories.

Job Description: 

Two postdoctoral researchers are needed to work on disinfection byproducts removal in waters: one in chemical methods and another in microbiological method.

 

Requirements:

The selected candidates should have strong relevant backgrounds and research experience; Ph.D. degrees in environmental engineering or relevant areas, preferably with emphases in disinfection and disinfection byproducts; and, excellent publication records.
