Open Post-Doc Positions in Water Desalination at WDRC-KAUST

Professor Noreddine Ghaffour, Innovations in Desalination Technologies Theme Leader at the Water Desalination and Reuse Center (WDRC) at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) (http://wdrc.kaust.edu.sa/Pages/Noreddine-Ghaffour.aspx) invites qualified applicants having a PhD degree from reputed universities in chemical, environmental, or process engineering, to apply for a full-time 2-year post-doctoral fellow position in the area of water desalination, preferably having a good background in conventional and innovative membrane-based technologies (FO, MD and hybrid systems) and its related topics, e.g. pretreatment, membrane cleaning and energy issues.

The successful candidate is expected to focus his/her research on improving these technologies, with a focus primarily on fouling (inorganic, organic and biofouling) control (fundamental, applied and modeling research). Exceptional candidates working in related areas will also be considered.
