Job Description: 

A fully-funded PhD graduate assistantship, starting in spring 2016 or fall 2016, is available in environmental chemistry in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at University of Houston, TX, United States of America.

We seek a highly-motivated PhD candidate to conduct research in our research group of environmental nanochemistry and geochemistry.  The student will gain knowledge of nanomaterial synthesis and characterization as well as many interfacial chemical processes. The student will also have the chance to conduct experiments at National Labs. More information on the current research of the group can be found at http://www.cive.uh.edu/faculty/hu.

The ideal candidate will have a MS degree in environmental engineering or chemical engineering, with a strong background and interest in chemistry.
