Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI), Department of Civil, Construction & Environmental Engineering, invites applications for a full-time postdoctoral research position in environmental engineering to start before April 1, 2016. Candidates in the areas of biotechnology and microbiology are preferred. However, other research areas including membrane processes and nanotechnology will also be considered. The successful candidate will perform research, interact with water industries and help manage the new 8000 ft2 Marquette University interdisciplinary Water Research Laboratory in the Global Water Center (GWC). The GWC is a research, business and entrepreneurship accelerator adjacent to the Marquette University campus and managed by The Water Council (http://thewatercouncil.com/about-us/facilities/). The GWC also houses collaborating universities and industries including Badger Meter, A. O. Smith, Veolia Water North America, Rexnord, Sloan Valve, University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and others.
