The Department of Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences at Clemson University seeks applications from qualified students for pursuit of a PhD in Environmental Engineering starting in Fall 2016. The student will conduct research in the area of inorganic materials development for experimental antifouling technologies within membrane water treatment processes. Past coursework in inorganic/physical chemistry or materials science is required. The successful applicant will hold a bachelor’s or M.S. in chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, or related fields. Experience in chemical syntheses is preferred, as are strong leadership and communication skills.
