A postdoctoral position is available in the Graduate Institute of Environmental Engineering at National Taiwan University to study drinking water quality in the distribution system.
The postdoctoral scholar will be conducting research to investigate galvanic corrosion that occurs after partial lead pipe replacement and the behaviors of lead corrosion products under typical drinking water conditions. A strong background in water chemistry and analytical skills for metal analysis (ICP-MS, AA or anodic stripping voltammetry) and surface analysis (SEM-EDX, XRD, TEM, XPS) are highly desirable. A PhD in Environmental Engineering or a related discipline is required.
The initial appointment will be for one year and can be extended to a maximum of three years based on performance. The successful applicant will be reimbursed for a round-trip ticket for relocation to Taipei, Taiwan.
Applicants should send a CV with contact information of three references in a single PDF file to Dr. Yi-Pin Lin (firstname.lastname@example.org).
