Job Description:

The University of Texas at Austin Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in environmental and/or water resources engineering, develop a sponsored research program, supervise graduate students, collaborate with other faculty, and be involved in service to the university and the profession. The department seeks a person whose research provides a fundamental understanding of sustainable solutions to meet environmental challenges associated with contaminant removal in natural and engineered water systems, energy production, and/or protection of public health. Applicants working in other areas of environmental and water resources engineering will also be considered.

Applicants must have an earned Ph. D. degree in civil or environmental engineering, or equivalent. Applications from women and minorities are encouraged.
