The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Villanova University seeks candidates for a PhD Research Assistantship for an NSF funded project focusing on the development of reactive electrochemical membranes for water purification. The ideal candidate will possess a M.S. in Environmental or Chemical Engineering, and prior experience in electrochemistry, membrane processes, and surface characterization. Candidates holding a B.S. or M.S. in related fields will also be considered. The student will have the opportunity to conduct high-level research that will directly contribute to the development of a new generation of membranes for water treatment. The selected applicant will be funded with a competitive stipend, benefits, and travel support to attend professional conferences.
