The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Manhattan College invites applications from outstanding individuals for a new tenure-track position at the assistant or associate professor rank in the area of environmental sustainability with an emphasis on the urban environment. Candidates must have earned a doctorate in civil or environmental engineering, or a closely related field. We are especially interested in candidates with expertise in areas including, but not limited to: water reuse, energy and resource recovery from environmental systems, environmental life-cycle analysis, green engineering and design, environmental impacts of energy development and resource recovery, and environmental sustainability. Applicants must have potential or proven ability to develop a nationally recognized research program, must have excellent communication skills, and must have a strong commitment to teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate (masters) levels. The successful applicant is expected to have or be eligible to obtain Professional Engineering licensure. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
