The Division of Environmental Engineering at the Department of Civil Engineering at Kyung Hee University in Korea seeks applicants for PhD students focusing on the membrane fouling for water treatment, novel application of nanomaterials for water purification, and removal of heavy metals from ground water. The candidate should have a M.S. (or B.S. for MS-PhD program) in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering, and prior research experience in water treatment such as membrane processes, adsorption processes, and the water quality measurement. The selected student will receive full tuition, competitive stipend and travel supports to attend professional conferences. The application due is January 5, 2013 and the position starts from March 1, 2013.
