TEXAS TECH UNIVERSITY, DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING, LUBBOCK, TEXAS – The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department invites applications for a full time faculty position at the rank of professor.  Candidates will also be considered for the position of the Director of the Water Resources Center. Applicants with expertise in the area of water resources engineering and related fields will be considered.  The position requires: (1) an earned doctorate with a major in civil engineering or a closely related engineering discipline; (2) demonstrated ability and commitment to excellence in teaching, research and professional service; (3) evidence of scholarly achievements; and 4) demonstrated ability to lead and manage large multidisciplinary teams and projects.  Professional engineering registration as well as industrial and/or consulting experience is highly desirable.
