Assistant or Associate Professor of Environmental Health. A 12-month tenure track position beginning January 6, 2014. Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in environmental health, environmental science, environmental engineering, occupational health or other appropriate discipline; postdoctoral experience is preferred. Candidates that are ABD will be considered but the doctoral degree must be earned no later than June 30, 2014. The candidate must be able to teach courses in one of the following areas: Environmental Chemistry, Solid and Hazardous Waste, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, and/or Environmental Health Policy, Planning and Management. Ability to teach other courses in the department is desirable. The successful candidate will demonstrate evidence of the ability to interface with a multidisciplinary faculty with a broad range of interests. Establishment of a funded research program in area of expertise that involves graduate (M.S. and Ph.D.) and undergraduate students is expected. Competitive salary and startup funds are available.
