High-level career opportunity with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Research and Development – Director, Ground Water and Ecosystems Restoration Division in Ada, Oklahoma
EPA’s Office of Research and Development is seeking an outstanding internationally recognized science leader for the nation’s only research program focused on groundwater protection and restoration. The high visibility science program currently encompasses studies of the relationship between groundwater resources and hydraulic fracturing for extraction of natural gas and carbon sequestration. The responsibilities include advocacy, management of a large and highly skilled staff and supervision of a state-of-the art research facility. The goal of the program is to bring innovation to achieve sustainable solutions to complex environmental problems with a focus on groundwater resources. Salary is up to $200,000 plus benefits.
