The Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering at Texas A&M University is looking for three highly motivated doctoral students to conduct research to develop novel water treatment technologies under the guidance of Dr. Yong H. Huang. The research projects will cover the following areas:
1. Chemical processes for removing heavy metals from various industrial wastewaters
2. Combined biological and chemical processes for degrading refractory organic pollutants in water; and
3. Nanomaterials and nanotechnologies for environmental remediation.
The selected candidate will receive a competitive stipend, full tuition, and benefits.
