The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno, seeks candidates for a Ph.D. Research Assistant for a project focused on membrane-based water treatment processes at solar power facilities. The project is NSF funded and begins July 2014. The ideal candidate will possess an M.S. in Environmental or Chemical Engineering, and prior experience in membrane processes and analytical chemistry is highly desirable. Candidates holding a B.S. or M.S. in related fields will also be considered.
The selected graduate student candidate will receive a competitive research stipend, tuition support, and health insurance benefits.
