POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT SCHOOL OF PUBLIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS INDIANA UNIVERSITY-BLOOMINGTON CAMPUS Tenure Track Faculty Position in Environmental Chemistry The School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University-Bloomington (IUB) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in environmental chemistry. We seek an outstanding individual at the assistant professor rank, who will complement existing strengths in the environmental sciences on the IUB campus. Preference will be given to candidates with research interests focusing holistically on the fate and transport of pollutants in the aquatic and terrestrial compartments, including aspects of pollution control and prevention. An experimental, mechanistic, and multidisciplinary approach, including modeling, is preferred. A new multidisciplinary science building with state-of-the-art laboratories for environmental scientists will be completed at the end of the year. The successful applicant will establish an independent, externally funded research program and will teach effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Postdoctoral research experience is preferred. The School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) is a multidisciplinary, university-wide division of Indiana University and is organized as a professional school committed to excellence in research, teaching, and service and to addressing critical issues of environmental science and policy.
