| DESCRIPTION: | Opening: Postdoctoral Positions in Environmental Impact of Engineered Nanomaterials The Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering seek a postdoctoral scholar for conducting research on the environmental fate and transport of engineered nanomaterials (ENM) in aqueous environments. This is an interdisciplinary project funded by the Department of Energy. The scholar will work closely with faculty in Mechanical, Chemical, and Environmental Engineering. We are looking for a creative postdoctoral researcher with a doctoral degree in chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering with experience handling engineered nanomaterials in aqueous media as well strong background in colloidal science and wet chemistry. Previous experience in the analytical measurements (DLS, ICP, UV/VIS spectroscopy, chromatography, etc.) are a plus. The person must have a good command of oral and written English and significant experience conducting scientific experiments. This postdoctoral position is available immediately, will be renewable on an annual basis, and is anticipated for at least two years. Preference will be given to recent PhD graduates who are currently in the US and have a record of quality publication. Compensation will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
