Desirable skill sets for the candidates include knowledge of environmental chemistry, contaminant fate and transport, GC/MS/MS analytical chemistry, biodegradation, and the effect of redox conditions on contaminant degradation. Our Environmental Engineering program at UNR is a dynamic and growing program, and we are located in one of the most beautiful areas in the western US, with a wide variety of superb outdoor recreation opportunities available.
