Civil/Environmental Engineering

Civil/Environmental engineering faculty will be responsible for teaching appropriate, assigned undergraduate and graduate engineering courses, including discipline-specific civil/environmental engineering courses. Preferred areas of expertise include water resources engineering and related fields including surface and groundwater hydrology, water quality modeling, coastal and estuarine hydraulics, and water infrastructure. Professional registration or licensing or the ability to become registered is a must. The U.A. Whitaker School of Engineering is dedicated to quality education, research, and service. All faculty are expected to be excellent teachers who are committed to innovative delivery of instruction that results in improved student learning; to using technology, including distance learning, effectively; to engaging in scholarly and service activities; and to engaging in a continuous and outcomes-based assessment process.
