Graduate Research Assistantships for Anaerobic Biotechnology M.S./Ph.D. Studies

 The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI) invites applications for Graduate Research Assistantships for Ph.D. or M.S. students to start August 2010. The successful candidates will investigate anaerobic biotechnology for renewable energy generation and waste treatment and will join a research team studying improvement of anaerobic digestion to increase the rate and extent of methane production from various industrial and agricultural wastes (see http://www.mu.edu/wqc and http://www.mu.edu). Applicants should have a B.S. or M.S. in an engineering discipline and interest in wastewater treatment or renewable energy and anaerobic biotechnology.
