| DESCRIPTION: | Position Summary The School of Chemical, Biological and Environmental Engineering invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month position as School Head. The School of Chemical Biological and Environmental Engineering develops work ready engineers and performs high impact research and industrial engagement including commercialization of research results in the areas of chemical, biological, and environmental engineering. The faculty collaborate across disciplines within the School, the College of Engineering, and beyond. The School Head leads and manages these functions, helps advance the College as a whole through participation on the College leadership team, and reports to the Dean of Engineering. Minimum Qualifications Requires PhD or terminal degree and experience in and understanding of university teaching and research in the academic discipline/unit. Significant record of achievement that merits appointment as tenured faculty within the department. Demonstrated administrative, personnel and communication skills. Please see "Additional Required Qualifications for this position." Additional Required Qualifications PhD in a field associated with chemical, biological, or environmental engineering. Demonstrated successful managerial and leadership experience. Significant record of achievement that merits appointment as tenured faculty within the department.
