DESCRIPTION:

Graduate research/teaching assistantships are available for MS and PhD students in Environmental Engineering at the University of New Orleans for highly qualified applicants. Both, private and government funding is expected in the areas of: (a) air quality management (modeling, monitoring, control systems, and software applications development) as it applies to chemical industries, landfills; (b) emission factors development for maritime processes such as welding, cutting, and dry abrasive blasting. Students should have GRE scores available to apply immediately as these positions are for spring 2010.
