| DESCRIPTION: | I am currently recruiting a quality Ph.D. Graduate Research Assistant in the area of enhancement of phytoremediation traits in aquatic plants, starting immediately. Candidates starting as late as August 2010 will be considered. The ideal candidate will: (i) possess at least one degree in an Engineering field and an M.S. in Engineering or Biological Science; (ii) have experience in plant tissue culture or microbial culture; (iii) have experience in analytical chemistry; (iv) be interested in working with undergraduate students; and, (v) be interested in developing teaching materials related to his or her research. Previous laboratory experience is required. MSU Graduate Research Assistants receive competitive stipends, tuition waiver and health insurance benefits.
