Nominations for Undergraduate Student Award in Environmental Chemistry

 Dear Colleagues, I would like to bring to your attention to following annual Undergraduate Student Award established by the Division of Environmental Chemistry of the American Chemical Society. Please submit your nominations for deserving undergraduate students for the 2010 Undergraduate Awards in Environmental Chemistry. Details of the announcement and guidelines for selecting the awardees are provided below.  Please note that multiple awards will be offered. The application should be sent by April 1 to the Division of Environmental Chemistry Business Office (acs_envr@hotmail.com), attention Peney Patton, by e-mail. Certificates and complimentary division membership will be processed and forwarded to the departments for presentation by May 1, 2010. Best Regards, Dion   Undergraduate Student Award in Environmental Chemistry The Division of Environmental Chemistry sponsors annual awards to full-time undergraduate students currently enrolled in a United States education institution in chemistry, environmental engineering or other programs emphasizing environmental chemistry. These students must have completed or completing one full year of study at their current institution by the date of announcement of the awards (May). One award per department at a United States education institution will be given to outstanding full-time undergraduate students. The department will determine the criteria for the award and will make the selection. The attached form must be submitted to the Division of Environmental Chemistry Business Office by April 1 so that certificates and complimentary division membership may be processed and forwarded to the departments for presentation by May 1. The award consists of a one year membership in the ACS Division of Environmental Chemistry and a certificate. Awardees will be publicized in EnvirofACS, the Division web site and C&EN.
