Reminder - AEESP Distinguished Lecture Applications Due May 17

 Dear AEESP Members:

This is a reminder that the deadline for submitting applications to host the 2010-2011 AEESP Distinguished Lecture is May 17, 2010.  This year’s speaker is Dr. David Dzombak, Walter J. Blenko Sr. Professor of Environmental Engineering in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. Dr. Dzombak will be offering two lectures, 1) Need and Challenge of Alternative Water Sources for Use in Electric Power Production and 2) Geologic Sequestration of CO₂: Evaluating and Monitoring Seal Rock Integrity. Lecture tour dates will be scheduled during the periods September 27 – November 17, 2010 and January 19 – March 25, 2011.  More details and applications to host the lecture can be found on the AEESP website www.aeesp.org.
