| DESCRIPTION: | The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Missouri invites applications for Post-Doctoral Researcher/Research Associate positions. The primary responsibility of the successful candidate will be one of the following: (1) to conduct research and oversee a federal sponsored research project related to biological waste/wastewater treatment and (2) to conduct research and oversee an industrially sponsored research project related to antimicrobial products and storm water treatment. For research area (1), experience with biofilm is a plus. For research area (2), experience with polymer coating is preferred. The candidate will assist in supervising graduate students and be responsible for preparing project reports and journal manuscripts. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a closely related field. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with skills and experience.
