| DESCRIPTION: | Education: Doctoral Degree or equivalent in Civil and Environmental Engineering, or closely related area. Experience: NA Duties: The Brook Byers Institute for Sustainable Systems (BBISS) at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applicants for one post-doctoral fellow position. The successful candidate will primarily participate in a multi-institutional, National Science Foundation-sponsored project to investigate the resilience and sustainability of urban water and energy infrastructures, as well as other research activities conducted by the BBISS. Applicants are sought who have expertise in sustainable engineering. Specific expertise includes, but is not limited to, (1) life cycle assessment, (2) simulation of urban development, (3) agent-based modeling, (4) complex network analysis, (5) and environmental analysis of civil infrastructure systems. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related area. The candidate will be responsible for significantly contributing to peer review publications, technical reports, conference proceedings, and poster presentations. Full-time funding for this non-tenure track, research position will be provided by the Brook Byers Institute for Sustainable Systems for two (2) years.
