AGU Langbein Lecture Nominations

The Langbein Lecture Committee of the AGU Hydrology Section (http://hydrology.agu.org/) seeks nominations for the 2010 Langbein Lecture, to be given at the Fall Meeting in San Francisco. The Lectureship is awarded for “… lifetime contributions to the basic science of hydrology and/or unselfish service promoting cooperation in hydrologic research. Additional considerations may be the candidate’s renown as a lecturer and/or as an educator.”  Please send a letter indicating the rationale for the nomination by 26 July 2010 (note deadline extended) to the Committee Chair, Prof. Arturo Keller (keller@bren.ucsb.edu).
