One post-doctoral research associate is now being recruited in broad areas of water treatment and the specific project opportunities will depend on the interests and experience of the applicants. However, previous research experiences with nanomaterials s are highly valued.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in environmental engineering, material sciences, chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, or related fields. Successful candidates are expected to have a good publication record, good work attitude, ability to work in a team, and a good command of oral and written English.
The appointment can start immediately and will be initially for one year, but may be renewed up to 3 years pending research progress. The salary for postdocs at KAUST is highly competitive (USD $50,000~90,000 per year, depending on qualifications) and there is no income tax in Saudi Arabia.
