Requirements: • A PhD with postdoctoral experience in Environmental Chemistry/Environmental Microbiology Sciences is required. • Specific research in biodegradation, bioavailability, or multi-media fate/transport of chemicals is required. • A fundamentals understanding of the microbial transformation of xenobiotics including pathways for biocatalysis and biodegradation. • A broad understanding of microbiological processes in water, soil, sediments including the genetic and metabolic diversity of microorganisms • Demonstrated experience in application of experimental design, statistical analysis, and project management is required. • Recent laboratory and/or consulting experience with providing interpretation of the processes which influence the partitioning, transport, and lifetime of chemicals in environmental systems is required. • Strong communications skills and previous experience in consulting requiring high level of customer/client interactions. • Previous experience with U.S. and International regulatory testing guidelines and GLP standards is highly desired.
