Post-Doctoral Fellowship
Search Status:
Screening begins April 1, 2021 and will continue until the position is filled.  The position is to start July 1, 2021.

A full-time Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in support of the Center for Watershed Research & Service (CWRS) and Engineering programs at Saint Francis University.  The position will entail:

Contaminant fate and transport/hydrology for community resilience

Chemical risks to vulnerable communities

Severe hydrometeorological events like hurricanes and floods can trigger chemical release while simultaneously creating unanticipated chemical transport pathways such as uphill overland flow. Emergency response plans depend on the use of key infrastructure that is impaired by the same events that triggered the emergency. A methodology to screen locations by magnitude of these interacting risks is needed.
