Job Description: 

A postdoctoral position is available at Sustainable Environmental Technology Laboratory (SETL) of Kangwon National University (KNU) to work on a multidisciplinary research related to the synthesis of nanomaterial-based adsorbents, catalysts, electrodes, and membranes with the focus on water, wastewater treatments, seawater desalination, and salinity gradient power generation.

The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or related fields. The candidate is expected to have a strong experience in synthesizing nanomaterials and their engineering applications. Experiences in the use of instrumental analytical techniques (e.g., high-performance liquid chromatography, liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry, and gas chromatography) and statistical data analysis is a big plus. Candidates must possess strong communication (written and oral English) skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment. Salary is approximately $3,500,000 KWR per month (before taxes and other deductions). The position is available immediately, and will be renewable on an annual basis, and is anticipated for two years.
