Additional Position Information:
The selected candidate will develop, revise and deliver lecture and laboratory courses in environmental engineering and water resources at the undergraduate and graduate level to day and evening students and supervise graduate students, submit research proposals to secure external funding, and publish scholarly publications. Additional duties include maintaining laboratories, actively participating in university, college, department, and program committee work, program outcome assessments for accreditation, and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• B.S. in Civil Engineering.
• Ph.D. from nationally recognized environmental engineering graduate program
• Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the environmental engineering and water resources area of Civil Engineering
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Interest in conducting collaborative research with colleagues in related disciplines both inside and outside the Civil Engineering department (including geotechnical, transportation, structures, and construction engineering)
• Show potential for independent research leading to an externally funded research program
• Able to obtain his/her professional engineering (PE) registration.
• Teaching and/or practical experience in environmental engineering

The compensation for this position is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
