The work is part of a wider Italian project named PREDICTIVE DYNAMICS OF MICROBIOLOGICAL CONTAMINATION OF GROUNDWATER IN THE EARTH CRITICAL ZONE AND IMPACT ON HUMAN HEALTH (DY.MI.CR.ON) where an interdisciplinary group of scientists and engineers are involved.
The position is for 1 year with possible extension to 2 years.
Applicants should have a PhD and a strong background in either applied mathematics, geoscience, and engineering, or a related field. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are necessary, and the knowledge of the Italian language is not required.
