Job Description

Work in Paradise! The Water Resources Research Center at the University of Hawaii at Manoa is hiring a research associate (postdoctoral researcher) who will compile, proofread, edit, and print the scientific reports produced by the science team and coordinate related research efforts exploring the impact of treated wastewater outfalls on benthic and fish communities. Participation in other ongoing research projects of the center is also possible.

Applicants should have a doctoral degree in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, microbiology, or a related field. Strong writing, editing, and communication skills in English are a must. Interest and background in water quality research and environmental biology, including microbiology, are desired.

The position is renewable annually, contingent on performance and availability of funds. This is not a remote or partially remote working opportunity. Review of applications will begin immediately.
