Research Position: Dr. Ramesh Goel’s lab at the University of Utah is looking for one Ph.D student starting in Spring 2026.
The student will work on EPA and NSF-funded projects investigating the fate of PFAS in municipal wastewater treatment plants and soil systems. Students with a background in Environmental Chemistry, Chemical & Biological Engineering, or related fields are encouraged to apply. Students are expected to have a GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale for the core courses. International students are subject to the English proficiency requirement by the University of Utah, which includes the English tests (TOEFL, 80 & above; IELTS, 6.5 & above).
