Solid Waste Management

The Waste Management System Design (WMSD) Lab at the University of Regina, Canada, is looking for a post-doc. The contract length of this PDF position is two years. The start time should be between June and December 2026. The salary is CAD $70,000 per year. The funding of this position is provided by the Canada Impact+ Research Training Awards program.

Eligibility notes:

1. The applicant must have a PhD degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering or a closely related field
2. The applicant must have completed their PhD degree recently (0-4 years)
3. The applicant must have peer-reviewed publications in the field of solid waste management.
4. The applicant can be of any citizenship (Canadian or non-Canadian)
5. The applicant must be currently working outside Canada
6. The applicant can NOT have a current affiliation with a Canadian institution
7. The applicant must NOT hold a tenure-track or tenured position at an educational institution
8. The applicant must be able to report to work at the University of Regina campus in 2026
